We're really very proud of this one. You see we're not just #1 in Halls Gap, we're also winners of the 2020 and 2021 Traveller's Choice Award, which is, quite frankly, much more than we ever expected. We really appreciate all the kind things people have said about us, and our motel. It makes us want to keep on working harder to make sure everyone who stays here has a truly wonderful time.

2017 Grampians Pyrenees Business Awards Winner

We are more than a little bit thrilled to tell you that we had a very successful night at the Grampians Pyrenees Business Awards. We were finalists in the Best Tourism Business category, our wonderful head cleaner Sandra won Employee of the Year, and we won the People's Choice Award!

Thank you so very much to everyone who voted for us. Winning the People's Choice Award is a really big honour. We are so amazed at how many people, people who stayed here for a night or two maybe a year or more ago, took the time to vote for us. We are proud and humbled, and of course, absolutely thrilled.

We love this little motel of ours, and we love this beautiful place, and being able to share that with people from all over the world is a wonderful privilege.

2016 Wimmera Business Awards Winner

We are very proud and rather humbled to say that we recently won the Tourism & Attractions category in the 2016 Wimmera Business Awards. 

We really didn't think a simple little budget motel could win considering all the amazing tourism related businesses in the area. But we're very happy that we did. The judges told us that our focus on excellent customer service and environmental sustainability were a big part of why they chose us.

2016 Victorian Tourism Awards Finalist

And while we didn't win, we are also very proud and humbled at being named finalists in the 2016 Victorian Tourism Awards.

We were nominated in the Standard Accommodation category, which as you can imagine, covers a LOT of businesses across Victoria. To be named as finalists means we have reached a very high standard for standard accommodation, and that's exactly what we aimed to do.

You don't get an average rating of 9.2 if you're not doing something right. Look, to be honest with you, we've slipped a bit since then, our rating now is 9.0. I know right! But don't worry, we've identified what we're doing wrong and we're working hard to get this back up where it belongs.
