While most people know the mountain range as the Grampians. Aboriginal people have always known this place as Gariwerd.
​We acknowledge and respect the traditional custodians whose lands we are fortunate to live and work on, and we pay our respects to all Elders past and present.

CLEAN & HYGIENIC

We are taking great care to ensure the Gariwerd Motel is a clean, hygienic and safe place to stay.

We are following the best available advice to ensure that rooms are disinfected prior to use by new guests. We use an alcohol-based cleaning solution (mostly methylated spirits); paying close attention to frequently used surfaces such as door knobs, benchtops, light switches; and of course, lots of hand washing.

We've decided to put a hold on our delicious buffet breakfast for the moment. Buffets are a risky proposition at a time like this, so keep this in mind when planning a visit.

And we moved to a contactless check-in model. You'll be notified by text message of your room details, and you can by-pass reception and go straight to your room.
